| [Objective] To explore the research hotspots and directions of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment of premature ejaculation through combing and visualizing the literature on the treatment of premature ejaculation with TCM. [Methods] To retrieve the published literature on TCM treatment of premature ejaculation from China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) from the establishment of the database to July 2021， apply CiteSpace 5.8.R1 software， and use methods such as collaborative network， keyword clustering， and keyword co-occurrence to determine the age of the included literature. Visual analysis of basic information such as， author， Keywords， etc.， draw a knowledge graph of TCM treatment of premature ejaculation， and summarize the research hotspots of TCM treatment of premature ejaculation. [Results] A total of 346 documents were retrieved. After excluding documents that were obviously irrelevant to the subject and repeated publications，328 documents were finally included. The maximum number of articles published by the author WANG Fu was 22， and there were 10 authors who published more than 5 articles. A total of 15 main clustering labels were formed， the research status mainly included kidney Yang deficiency， sexual dysfunction， acupuncture treatment， sexual life， prostatitis， acupuncture therapy， TCM therapy， specific therapy， diabetes， impotence and premature ejaculation， integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine， clinical observation. Research trends involved the transformation of TCM treatment methods， TCM syndromes and treatment concepts for premature ejaculation. [Conclusion] Based on intuitive expression of the knowledge graph， it reveals that the current field of research is still in a relatively slow development stage， with relatively few research results， and most of the researches stay at the initial stage of clinical application of Chinese medicine and acupuncture treatment. There is little researches on the mechanism of premature ejaculation treated by TCM， acupuncture and moxibustion and other TCM treatment methods， and further in-depth research is needed. |
